Pacific Restaurant’s Churros

A sweet taste of Mexico.

There is something special to be said about warm, fresh churros that can satisfy a sweet craving in every way possible. Our churros from Pacific Restaurant have become somewhat of a specialty and a fan-favorite among our guests. While we are all doing our part in staying home, we wanted to open up our “kitchen” to you and share this surprisingly-easy recipe to help you recreate these sweet treats at home.

Not only are these churros easy to make, but you will most likely already have the required ingredients at home. Take a deep breath, roll up your sleeves, and follow the simple instructions below.

We’d love to see how you recreate this churros recipe by sharing your churros and tagging us using #NobuatHome. Don’t forget to follow along on our social at @NobuLosCabos for more at-home activities.

Directions

  1. Start with boiling the milk, water, sugar, and salt in a saucepan.
  2. Add the flour until a dough is formed, then remove from heat.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time until completely mixed, and cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Spoon dough into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip (you can also make a DIY piping bag from parchment paper), and pipe 1-inch strips of dough into the frying pan.
  6. Fry until golden brown, and let cool on a paper towel.
  7. Drizzle your choice of caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, condensed milk, or even coat with sugar and cinnamon, and enjoy.
